Blue Star Cartridge & Brass started officially September 01, 1987 when my father Gerald Garrett retired from the Arkansas State Police after over 20 years. My father passed away May fifth of 2007 and I Pat Garrett is now seeing to his operation.
The company name Blue Star came from the design off the old Arkansas State Police door emblem. Our company started out as ammunition re-manufacturing company better known around these parts as re-loads. In December of 1987 I completed my six year tour with the U.S. Marines out of Camp Lejeune North Carolina 1st Battalion 2nd Marines 2nd Mar-Div.
My dad and I have loaded ammunition as far back as I can recall. We have prided ourselves on the highest quality of re-manufactured ammunition on the market. We use only American made components and are very proud of our reputation.
We are a direct buyer of products from Remington Arms out of Lonoke Arkansas and Star-line Brass Company out of MO. Hornady Bullet Company and many others.
I am proud to represent my fathers company and I have two son’s Christopher and Joseph Garrett who along with my mother Iaunita Garrett see to the day to day operations of this business. From all of us here I wish to thank you for checking out or web-site and for your past and present business. Without the years of your continued support we couldn’t have made this business continue.

My father was proud of the business he started and I was blessed to have many years working and learning by his side. Nobody could have had any better of a dad than mine was to me, and I tell you that is and was a blessing.
