Return Policy
- If we made a mistake in shipping out the wrong item to you let me apologize now. We request you notify us at 501.268.6443, and then Return the product
with a copy of the invoice and a note of where I messed up and what it cost you to return the package and we will get it right and return it to you the day received. We will either credit your card back for the shipping or give you that amount of merchandise, whichever you want us to do. As hard as we try we still sometimes mess up.
- If you are dissatisfied with our product or have a problem with a sales rep I request you contact me, Pat Garrett at 501.268.6443 to see if a solution can be worked out.
- Any ammunition must be returned by UPS. A 10% re-stocking fee will apply to ALL refunded returns. We will NOT pay the freight back on any item that is being refunded.
- In the unlikely event you receive damage to a firearm from any of our ammunition.
- Call us immediately.
- Keep the tag that is in each package of ammunition so we can look up and recall the LOT number. Without the tag or the remaining rounds of ammunition being received and inspected I will NOT reimburse you.
- Do NOT have work done on the firearm prior to our discussion. If you do I will NOT reimburse you.
- If you shoot GLOCK pistols the owner’s manual you received with your firearm advises you not to use re-loads. This is ammunition we consider “Loaded in Once Fired Brass.” If you wish to use our ammunition in Glock Firearms we request that you use our New Brass or a New Nickel Ammunition line of product. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT fire ANY lead projectile ammunition through a stock Glock! This will eliminate any and all problems. We are not bashing Glock firearms here at Blue Star, in fact many of our personell carry them. But Glocks use non-standard rifling in their barrell's and they are known for reliably feeding but loosely tolerant chambers. If your Glock firearm is damaged by re-loaded or lead projectile ammunition produced by our company I will not feel obligated to repair or refund your money.
- Over-Sea shipments: Brass or projectiles ONLY! No primers. No powder. No loaded ammunition!
- We accept CASH, Visa, Master Card and Discover and American Express as payment in US Dollars for now. AS OF 2010: No more open accounts. PLEASE DON’T ASK. I am still waiting on several checks from as far back as 2007 and unfortunately until these accounts are settled or the economy starts booming again I can't afford to overextend the business any further. My apologies to those of you that never put me in this position.
- Store Hours: Due to gun show days our hours of walk in operation change. You are welcome to call us or stop by our business for a tour of the loading operation anytime.
- We are open Monday thru Friday 9 AM till 5 PM CST and Saturday from 9 AM until noon. We are closed on major holidays. The business is closed when we are at guns shows, however the phone lines should be answered during the normal business hours even with us being gone to the show.
- Privacy: I do not keep your name, address or card info on file. After the book-keeper is done I shred all documents with names and info. I will continue to do this until some law changes. I will not give out your email address. I may personally contact you from time to time with sales info but once or twice a year is about it.
- Ammunition: Re-loading is an art. As the owner and operator of Blue Star Cartridge & Brass I am very concerned about the quality of ammunition we are putting out on the market. We use only American Made products in our manufacturing process. We use Dillon progressive presses and Dies and Electric loading Machines called AMMO LOAD both of which are top of the line equipment. I have trained and supervised my help and have the up most confidence in our product. However as with all operations the boss doesn’t always know it all. If you experience any of the following problems I would really like to hear about it. I expect and demand to have the best re-manufactured ammunition on the market. Without your feedback good and bad I can not make the correct changes. You our customer know more about the accuracy and dependability than I do. So your input is important. Books, gauges, tool and experience are all good things but you the shooter are my best source of information.
- Round wouldn’t chamber in my firearm.
- Rounds don’t eject properly.
- Rounds too powerful.
- Rounds to weak. (Check barrel for obstructions)
- Cylinder hard to rotate when loaded.
- Ammunition accuracy. Good or bad I need to know.
- Rounds don’t feed properly.
- Failed to fire.
- Overly dirty. Excessive unburned powder.
Anything at all you see of feel I should know about please contact me at once and if possible the tag that is inside each package is marked with a lot number. Just made up by me random please have it available so I can pull some of my work and check it.
Any other questions feel free to email or call!
